Caving in Romania is for both the un-initiated but also for the professionals.
Stalagmites and stalactites are surely the highlight, always different, in shapes, colors and height. There are over 12,000 caves in Romania, out of which 76 are longer than 2 kilometers. The good news is that they are not ready for mass tourism so we will be explorers ourselves accompanied by an authorized guide to help us learn and protect them.
